The comprehensive planning process requires approximately eighteen months to complete. From July 2025 to October 2026, the MPC will work closely with planning staff, Planning committees, City Council, County Commission, and citizens throughout Chatham County to identify issues, share strengths, develop visions and goals, and build strategies for this plan.
